With over 35 million regular practitioners, the horse sport is one of the most popular sports in the world - and its practitioners are increasingly turning to the digital sphere to get their needs met. Our mission is simple. We want to enable the universal needs of the horse sport community to be effectively met online. The horse sport is yet to be digitized, and our aim is to enable people in the horse sport to create digital identities, connect with fellow horse people, and access information required to exchange horses, goods and services - in one place. We are a small team of three with both business and tech competences, along with a vast experience in the horse sport industry. We work hard, celebrate our progress and are super excited for the future of horse tech.
With a live app on App Store and Google Play, we’re now working closely with our users in fine tuning existing features and developing new ones. We have an exciting year ahead with launching new features that relate to our business model, and to maintain a great performance in regards to a growing user base.
Whether you're completely fullstack or more into frontend/backend, we got tasks for you. You’ll be working in a small and agile development team, both building new features and tweaking existing ones based on user feedback
The basics:
• You are familiar with the horse world! And because of that, you’ll have a better understanding of our users.
• You are strong in JavaScript, and are familiar with: React and/or React NativeNode.jsGraphql NoSQL
• You put emphasis on code style, cleanliness and robustness.
• You work independently and are proud of what you build (and aware when things could be improved), and you take responsibility from design to production.
• If something seems off, you bring new suggestions to the table.
Beyond the basics (what would really impress us):
• You have experience in infrastructure and thrive in backend optimization.
• You have a passion for metrics and utilizing data to improve the product and user experience
