How the chat and buyer contact works

When your horse appears as a match tip, the buyer can choose to start a conversation with you. All communication happens safely in one place directly on the platform — no need to share your private phone number or sort through messy email threads.

  1. 1The buyer makes first contact. If a verified buyer is interested in your horse, they send you a message directly via Floccs.
  2. 2You're notified right away. You don't need to manually refresh the app — the system pings your phone as soon as a buyer has written. See the guide: How do I get notified when a buyer responds?.
  3. 3Reply in the app or on desktop. You can answer questions and arrange a trial ride whether you're at your computer or out at the stable. See the guide: Where do I find my messages from buyers?.

Keeping the chat active and responding quickly increases your chances of a smooth and successful sale.
