Beautiful mare seeking new home

We are looking for a permanent and loving home for our dear Mira. She was born and raised with us and is a cherished family member. Unfortunately, we no longer have the same time and opportunities to give her the care we wish for her, which is the only reason we are now choosing to sell. Mira is being sold as a hobby horse. She has been regularly ridden throughout her life, though at a lighter level. She is good to ride out, both alone and in company, and for lighter sessions in the paddock. She is currently ridden barefoot and bitless, mostly out in the forest. Riding out with other horses has worked well regardless of who is riding her. Mira was born with a contracture of the flexor tendons in her right foreleg, which was successfully operated on as a foal. She has had no complications related to this since. She has also had a minor injury to a collateral ligament and a bout of laminitis in connection with frost. The laminitis was treated immediately and she recovered completely. She was X-rayed afterwards with no lasting changes or complications. She has been able to graze and have free access to forage throughout the winter. She functions well in a herd and has been low in the pecking order with us. She is easy to keep and gets along well with smaller horses with lower energy needs. All everyday handling works well. Mira will only be sold if the right home appears. She is not being sold for commercial use; instead, we are seeking a home where she will receive plenty of outdoor time, good care, and a sound approach to horse management.
