Here we have a mare who knows what she wants and is currently the oldest in the stable, but still the one who leads the flock. AND us children in the Hammarström family. My sister Mathilda and I got Swoppan together when we were 11 years old and just starting our competition careers. She was the biggest horse I had ever seen (B-pony) and my legs barely reached over the saddle flaps. I was terrified and full of anticipation! And what she delivered! I honestly believe Swoppan has taken all of us children in this 'bullerby' to the Swedish Championships. She is a living legend and a crown jewel.
