Balou is a sensitive little horse with a heart in the right place. He is my first own horse, also my best friend and competition partner! Balou has a pedigree that shines with success, with an Olympic horse as his great-grandfather, Baloubet du Rouet, and his grandfather is Balou du Rouet, so he can jump high! Balou is a horse that loves speed and excitement, as well as jumping, both in the arena and out in the woods and fields. He can sometimes find dressage a bit challenging but still fun, and it's something we train a lot! Balou can have strong opinions sometimes and is not a "typical gelding." Some days he might decide he absolutely doesn't want to go into the stable or go in the direction I ask on trail rides, but he can always be persuaded.
