We bought Safari two years ago for our then 12-year-old daughter with the hope that they would spend their pony years together. The goal was to ride the highest classes together. Unfortunately, the rider shot up and grew two decimeters in two years and is now instead far too tall for her lovely pony, which means we reluctantly have to rethink.
Safari is a spirited and forward pony without being hot or strong. She has a big canter and carries her rider to the fences. Completely unfazed by fences, she jumps large water jumps and various types of character obstacles.
However, she can be a little nervous, so she might not be suitable as a first pony, but she is a fantastic competition pony for a rider with some previous experience.
She loads herself and is easy to take to shows, competitions, and training. Kind and uncomplicated in all handling. Low in the herd hierarchy, so she needs a kind companion if she is to have a pasture friend. Used to being out in the grass during the summer, no illnesses or eczema. Healthy and sound!
We wish Safari a knowledgeable home where she can continue to compete, which she loves, but where she will also become a family member and best friend.
