Interest check! For training, possibly competition, or a fun hobby horse for a smaller rider! Scilla has a bit of a mischievous streak when she's had a break or when the cold weather arrives. She might buck then. She never bucks to dislodge her rider. She mainly bucks when she finds things a little difficult, but they aren't high bucks. She might buck a little during jumping when she gets excited (see the last video for an example. Videos are from 07-03-26). If you walk in a canter hill, she might also buck because it's much more fun to canter. She does NOT do this with small children, it should be added! She knows who is on her back. My 7-year-old sister has cantered her alone outdoors, and it went well! Smaller children can ride her as she is always kind when led. However, I am looking for a more experienced rider as she requires some exercise. Scilla is used to most things such as dogs, cats, tractors, cars, and children. She likes to have a slightly older rider who has progressed in their riding and enjoys speed. Scilla is kind in all handling. She is good to clip but can be a little tense at first; she's a bit grumpy for the farrier, but it's usually not a major problem. She is shod all around as she is sensitive on gravel. Scilla is ridden out both in a group and alone. She goes everywhere and can go first or last. Scilla is not particularly trained for her age but learns quickly and is fun to develop with! I started training Scilla in 2024, and she has developed rapidly! She knows the basics of dressage. In jumping, she has her own engine but doesn't get strong. She jumps individual fences at 70 cm. She can become a little unsure at higher heights. She jumps practically anything you point her at. Scilla has not competed as I am over 13 and cannot compete in B-ponies. Not officially measured, but I would say she is around 127 cm. She is a good doer and should not be on pasture as she has had laminitis. She has been managed with grazing muzzles and exercised daily, which has worked very well. She has never been injured apart from the laminitis. Scilla has lived with us for 10 years and is very dear to our hearts, and is only for sale if the right home appears. She is being sold because I want to buy a larger pony.
