Patch is a 15h 5yo steel grey purebred Connemara gelding with a memorable, adorable splash of white colour on his shoulder, which is how he got his name 🥰
He is a fantastic model, with a lovely, forward-going nature that makes him fun and easy to jump. He loves cross country and has plenty of experience in new places
Patch is excellent at jumping ditches and drains, coffins, and water. Because of this special talent, we feel he would fit best in a hunting family. He is straightforward to bring new places and enjoys the challenge of new jumps
Patch stays steady without getting hot or pulling to fences, he always goes in a snaffle.
Patch knows how to travel in the contact without much help from the rider
Patch is naturally athletic and enthusiastic to work. Because of his tireless work ethic and endurance ability, we think he will make an excellent eventing partner for someone looking to produce their next star.
Patch has lots of experience hacking alone and with others. He is well behaved every time and a confident leader for others.
He is quiet and focused in groups or alone, and stays calm in busy environments. He would best suit a young person working with a coach looking to develop an eventing partner, a family who enjoys hunting, or an amateur eventer looking for a fun riding club mount to lesson and compete with.
He is well behaved to handle, easy to catch, shoe, load, tie, plait, bathe, etc.
